If you don’t already know, the Philippine Atheists and Agnostics Society (PATAS) was founded February 11, 2001. It aims to bring about critical thinking, free-thought and scientific inquiry to a country that has been bound to religious tradition and dogma for so long. After a very successful year of recruitment and social action, PATAS is ready to hold their first atheists and agnostics convention, the first in the Philippines. The event will be held April 21 of this year at the Bayview Park Hotel in Manila.

Tanya Smith – President, Atheist Alliance International (AAI)
Norm Allen – Institute for Science and Human Values (ISHV) speaker
Roar Johnsen – VP, International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU)
